The inherent flexibility of the original POWERPLUS system has allowed P+W Software to respond to these new products with industry-leading system enhancements for the administration of HRAs. For example: - Employer Funding via flexible rate tables
- User-defined transaction codes to form the basis for end-of-year Utilization Reports
- Account prioritization, allowing automatic claim roll from one account to another, i.e., from an FSA to an HRA, or vice versa!
- Year-end balance rollover, allowing the user to roll a percentage of the unused balance, up to a user-defined maximum, to the next year.
- Pay to Provider options that can be set at three different levels (account, employee and individual claim) for maximum flexibility. This feature includes comprehensive report capabilities and user-friendly online inquiry screens to easily track each expense and correlating payment, whether made as a reimbursement to the employee or a direct payment to the provider.
The latest HRA enhancements even allow the administrator to: - track front-end HRA deductibles and coinsurance amounts,
- check for duplicate claims through an extensive claim history, and
- allocate certain service types to the correct account automatically.
